Kochi, September 9 (HS): The Kochi Blue Tigers etched their name in history by lifting the Kerala Cricket League 2025 title, and their captain Sanju Samson once again reminded fans why he is regarded as one of the most selfless and admired cricketers in India.

After steering his side to victory with a stellar show, Samson stunned everyone off the field by donating his entire prize money of ₹26.8 lakh to his teammates — a gesture that highlighted his humility and team-first mindset.

On the pitch, Samson was the heartbeat of the Blue Tigers’ campaign. In just six matches, he hammered 368 runs at an average of 73 and a strike rate of 186, smashing 30 sixes and 24 fours.
