Tirana, Sept 12 (HS): The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced that the finals of the 2026-27 season of the UEFA Champions League will be staged in Madrid and Warsaw for the men’s and women’s tournaments respectively.

The decision was finalized at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting held in Tirana on Thursday. The men’s final will take place at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid, home to Atlético Madrid, which also hosted the 2019 final where Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur to lift the trophy.

Meanwhile, the women’s final will be staged at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland’s capital, marking a significant milestone for the country’s football infrastructure.

UEFA further confirmed that the 2025 UEFA Super Cup will be held in Salzburg, Austria.

In addition, the governing body reiterated that the 2026 men’s Champions League final is set for the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, while the women’s final will be played at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadium in Norway.
