Bullion Boom: 24-Carat Gold Crosses Historic ₹1.11 Lakh Mark

New Delhi, September 12 (HS): Precious metals in the Indian bullion market continued their record-breaking rally on Friday, with both gold and silver scaling new historic peaks. For the first time ever, 24-carat gold breached the ₹1.11 lakh per 10 gram mark, while 22-carat gold crossed the ₹1.02 lakh level. Silver too registered a sharp rise of ₹2,100 per kilogram, touching a fresh all-time high.

Across major bullion hubs, 24-carat gold was traded between ₹1,11,280 and ₹1,11,430 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood in the range of ₹1,02,000 to ₹1,02,150 per 10 grams. Silver prices soared to ₹1,32,000 per kilogram in Delhi’s bullion market.

Chennai: 24-carat gold at ₹1,11,280; 22-carat at ₹1,02,000.

Kolkata: 24-carat gold at ₹1,11,280; 22-carat at ₹1,02,000.

Lucknow: 24-carat gold at ₹1,11,430; 22-carat at ₹1,02,150.

Patna: 24-carat gold at ₹1,11,330; 22-carat at ₹1,02,050.

Jaipur: 24-carat gold at ₹1,11,430; 22-carat at ₹1,02,150.

In addition, bullion markets in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,11,280 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,02,000 per 10 grams, reflecting a nationwide surge in demand and prices.
