
New Delhi, 23 February (HS): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Sunday that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has left the government treasury empty for the current government. Despite this, the Bharatiya Janata Party will fulfill its commitment and implement the scheme of Rs 2500 per month for women.
A meeting of the newly elected MLAs of BJP was held in the state office today under the leadership of Delhi State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. In this meeting, the upcoming assembly session and the work to be done in their respective areas were discussed.
After the meeting, the State President and the Chief Minister addressed a joint press conference. In response to a question, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said , continuous meetings have been held in the last four days since the formation of the government. We are understanding the subjects. The government has assessed the financial situation with the officials. We have found that the state’s revenue is completely empty. Despite this, we will plan in detail and fulfill our commitment 100 percent.
She said that the most important topic in the upcoming assembly session will be the CAG report. The previous government will be held accountable for misusing the hard-earned money of the public. They (AAP) will have to give an account of every rupee to the public. She told that the first assembly session of Delhi is going to start from tomorrow and in this, the focus will be on the works related to the people of Delhi.
Responding to the allegations of AAP and former Chief Minister Atishi, Rekha Gupta said ,the people of Delhi have seen what the Aam Aadmi Party has done during the previous tenures. What is their way of working. What is their vision. Our focus is only and only on the people of Delhi.
State President Virendra Sachdeva said that as the first session of the Delhi Assembly is going to start from Monday, a meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs has been held today before the assembly session.
Our government has only one agenda – to make Delhi world-class. To remove the sufferings of the people and work for them. In the meeting, there was a discussion on fulfilling the expectations of the public. Our work will shut the mouth of Aam Aadmi Party, he said.
