A second adviser detailed that the U.S. is in discussions with several countries about contributing troops to the proposed force. The nations approached include Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar, and Azerbaijan. The advisers clarified the conditions for future reconstruction efforts in the territory.

While humanitarian aid will continue to enter Gaza, no rebuilding funds will be allocated to areas that remain under Hamas control. We’re looking at starting to rebuild in areas that right now are Hamas-free, terror-free zones, the first adviser explained.

Furthermore, the officials emphasized that the plan does not involve the forced displacement of Gazans from the enclave.
