
Delhi, 19 October (H.S.): The domestic bullion market saw a quiet trading session on Sunday, the day following the Dhanteras festival, with gold and silver prices holding steady. There was no change in the rates of the precious metals.Across most major markets, 24-carat gold was trading in a tight range of ₹1,30,860 to ₹1,31,010 per 10 grams.
Similarly, 22-carat gold was being quoted between ₹1,19,950 and ₹1,20,100 per 10 grams. Silver also remained unchanged, retailing at ₹1,72,000 per kilogram in the Delhi market.This stability on Sunday contrasts sharply with the strong bullish trend observed throughout the past week.
From Monday to Saturday, 24-carat gold recorded a significant surge of up to ₹5,780 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold became dearer by ₹5,300 per 10 grams. In contrast, silver experienced a weekly decline, with its price falling by ₹8,000 per kilogram over the same period.
In the national capital, Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,31,010 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,20,100 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,30,860 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available for ₹1,19,950 per 10 grams.Prices in other key cities also reflected this stable trend. .

Meanwhile, in state capitals like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, both 24-carat and 22-carat gold were trading at ₹1,30,860 and ₹1,19,950 per 10 grams, respectively.
