Sunil Sharma lays foundation stone for 17 Crore KP Galhar–Chingnana road, boosting connectivity in Paddar–Nagseni

Kishtwar, Dec 05 (KINS): Leader of the Opposition Sunil Sharma on Friday laid the foundation stone for the KP Galhar–Chingnana road via Lower & Upper Bronan, terming it a landmark infrastructure project that fulfils a long-pending demand of residents of Paddar and Nagseni.

Calling improved road connectivity the “backbone of regional development,” Sharma said the ₹17 crore project will significantly ease travel, improve accessibility and boost socio-economic growth across the remote belt. He added that the initiative reflects the collective aspirations of the people who have consistently pushed for this essential facility.

“The KP Galhar–Chingnana road will transform mobility for thousands, connect remote habitations, and ensure faster access to education, healthcare, and essential services. Development must always be driven by people’s genuine needs,” Sharma said.

Reaffirming his commitment to equitable growth, the LoP said development must reach every village, especially those neglected for decades. He expressed confidence that the project would be completed in a transparent and time-bound manner, delivering long-term benefits to the region.

Sharma congratulated the people of Paddar–Nagseni and assured them of continued support in future developmental initiatives.(KINS)
