6 Ex-Army Chiefs Offer Prayers At Pashupatinath Temple On Maha Shivratri

Kathmandu, 26 February (HS): Six Ex-Army Chiefs of the Indian Army, who came to Kathmandu on the invitation of the Nepali Army, performed special prayers at the Lord Pashupatinath Temple today on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Former Chiefs of the Indian Army, General Joginder Jaswant Singh, General Deepak Kapoor, General (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, General Dalveer Singh Suhag, General (Dr.) Manoj Mukund Naravane and General Manoj Pandey, who reached the Army Day program organized by the Nepali Army, have been informed to visit the Pashupatinath Temple and perform special prayers and darshan there. All these former Army Chiefs have come to participate in the Foundation Day celebrations of the Nepali Army to be held on the day of Mahashivratri. The Nepali Army is celebrating its 263rd Foundation Day this year. Apart from this, the Nepali army has also informed that the former chiefs of the Indian army will also attend a conference of Nepal-India military chiefs.
