Srinagar, Dec 20 (KINS): Joint Director Information (Kashmir), Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, on Friday felicitated the winners of various competitions organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) at a function held at the Office of Joint Directorate Information here.
The ceremony honoured participants who excelled in several competitions, including the Essay Competition organised on National Press Day, National Anthem Singing Competition, Essay Writing Competition and Painting Competitions across different categories.
Interacting with the winners, the Joint Director congratulated them for their achievements and lauded their creativity, talent and enthusiasm. He underscored the role of such initiatives in nurturing expression, spreading awareness on important national themes and fostering artistic and intellectual growth among participants.
Reaffirming the department’s commitment, he said DIPR will continue to promote creative and informative pursuits through regular cultural and literary activities.
The event was attended by Deputy Director Information (PR) Kashmir, Mohammad Rafiq; Culture Officer Burhan Hussain, besides other officers and officials of the department.(KINS)
