Baramulla, Dec 17 (KINS):Deputy Commissioner Baramulla has constituted a committee for the inspection and monitoring of coaching centres operating across Baramulla district to ensure compliance with prescribed norms and guidelines.
As per an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, the move aims to regulate coaching institutes, particularly with regard to registration, fee structure, and the availability of essential facilities. These include proper electricity supply, heating arrangements, safe drinking water, toilet facilities, CCTV cameras, sanitation, and adequate seating arrangements for students.
The inspection committee will comprise the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, as a member along with the Chief Education Officer, the concerned Tehsildar, and the concerned Zonal Education Officer.
The committee has been tasked with conducting regular and periodic inspections of all coaching centres functioning in the district. It will verify adherence to mandatory norms and submit detailed inspection reports along with specific recommendations to the Deputy Commissioner for further necessary action.
The order, issued under reference No. DCB/Grv/2025/241-44 dated December 17, 2025, has been circulated to all concerned officers for information and compliance.
