
Srinagar- The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Sunday ordered the transfer of several IAS and IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre, posting a number of senior officers to Jammu and Kashmir while shifting others out of the Union Territory. The transfers have been ordered with immediate effect.
As per the order, IAS officers Ashwani Kumar (1992 batch) and R Alice Vaz (2005 batch) have been posted to Jammu and Kashmir from Delhi. Anjali Sehrawat (2013 batch) and Kumar Abhishek (2016 batch) have also been transferred from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir, while Akriti Sagar (2016 batch) has been posted from Arunachal Pradesh and Sagar D Dattatray (2014 batch) from DNH&DD.
Meanwhile, IAS officers Santosh D Vaidya (1998 batch), Niraj Kumar (2010 batch) and Saloni Rai (2016 batch) have been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi. Syed Abid Rashid Shah (2012 batch) has been shifted to Chandigarh, while Baseer Ul Haq Chaudhary (2015 batch) has been transferred to Ladakh.
In the IPS cadre, Prashant Priya Gautam (Delhi segment – 2013), Sudhanshu Dharma (Arunachal Pradesh segment –2016), and Sunny Gupta (Andaman & Nicobar segment – 2020) have been posted to J&K
Moreover, Rajinder Kumar Gupta (Additional Director, SKPA Udhampur) and Shobhit D. Saksena (SSP Security), who were serving in J&K, have been transferred to Puducherry and Delhi respectively.
Pertinent to mention here that transfers form part of routine cadre management by the Ministry of Home Affairs and have been communicated to the Jammu and Kashmir administration for necessary implementation.
