J&K BJP celebrates 77th Republic Day with patriotic spirit across Union Territory

Srinagar, Jan 26 (KINS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit across the Union Territory.
BJP leaders and party workers unfurled the National Flag at party offices, chowks, and important public places. The celebrations included patriotic slogans, national songs, and distribution of sweets, creating a festive and proud atmosphere.
At the BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, the National Flag was unfurled by BJP J&K President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, CA, along with General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, MLA Vikram Randhawa, District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia, and other senior leaders.
At the BJP Office in Kachi Chawni, Jammu, MP Ghulam Ali Khatana, MLA Arvind Gupta, District President Rajesh Gupta, and senior party leaders unfurled the tricolour.
Similarly, at City Chowk, Jammu, the National Flag was unfurled by MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and MLA Yudhvir Sethi, along with other party leaders.
While extending Republic Day greetings to the people, Sat Sharma said that India is the world’s largest democracy and is guided by the strong values of the Constitution. He said the Constitution not only gives rights to citizens but also reminds them of their duties towards the nation. He called upon everyone to follow democratic values and work together for a strong, self-reliant, and developed India.
Remembering the freedom fighters and national heroes, Sat Sharma said that the sacrifices of great leaders like Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, and many others continue to inspire the country. He stressed the need to protect India’s unity, sovereignty, culture, and national pride.
On the occasion, Ashok Koul said that BJP celebrates Republic Day with a deep sense of responsibility and devotion to the nation. He urged people to uphold the constitutional values of justice, liberty, equality, and unity, and emphasized the importance of instilling patriotism among the youth so they grow up as responsible and nation-first citizens.(KINS)
