J&K Police observe two minutes’ silence on eve of Martyrs’ Day





Jammu, Jan 30 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday observed a two-minute silence on the eve of Martyrs’ Day at the lawns of the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Jammu to honour the brave souls who laid down their lives for the nation.
Senior officers and officials from PHQ, APHQ and the Telecommunications wing participated in the solemn observance. Additional Director General of Police (Armed) Anand Jain led the gathering in paying rich tributes to the martyrs and remembering their supreme sacrifice for the freedom and integrity of the country.
Among those present were IGP (POS) Uttam Chand, DIGs of PHQ including Nisha Nathyal and Mubassir Latifi, DIG IRP Jammu Vinod Kumar, Director Police Telecommunications J&K J.S. Johar, AIGs of PHQ, SO to ADGP Armed, along with other gazetted officers and police personnel.(KINS)
