LG Sinha Inaugurates Maharaja Ranbir Singh Bust at Central Sanskrit University, Jammu

Campus Renamed in Honour of Jammu & Kashmir’s Visionary Ruler


Jammu, Mar 16: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday inaugurated the bust of Maharaja Ranbir Singh at the Central Sanskrit University, Jammu, which has been renamed Shri Maharaja Ranbir Singh Campus to honour the erstwhile ruler’s contributions.

In a statement shared on X, the Lieutenant Governor’s office described the occasion as a tribute to Maharaja Ranbir Singh, highlighting his role in implementing key reforms, fostering cultural growth, and strengthening the socio-political fabric of Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the gathering, Sinha underscored the importance of youth in shaping India’s future. He said the nation must equip its young generation to navigate global challenges, build a strong India, and promote unity, peace, and human welfare worldwide.

The renaming of the campus and the unveiling of the bust symbolize recognition of Maharaja Ranbir Singh’s legacy and his enduring impact on education and governance in the region.
