


Delhi, 2 March (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday offered prayers and performed ‘rudhra abhishek’ at Gujarat’s Shri Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple.
In a post on X, PM Modi said,I had decided that after the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, I would go to Somnath, which is the first among the 12 Jyotirlingas.
Today, I felt blessed to have prayed at the Somnath Mandir. I prayed for the prosperity and good health of every Indian. This Temple manifests the timeless heritage and courage of our culture.
After the temple visit, PM Modi left for Sasan, the headquarters of Gir Wildlife Sanctuary in Junagadh district to launch the Project Lion on March 3, PM Modi is also expected to experience a jungle safari at the centre.
