Tel Aviv, March 03 (HS): Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised President Donald Trump for US cooperation in the fight against the terrorist group Hamas in the Gaza Strip. He said that Trump does not pretend, he also maintains friendship. He warned Hamas that Israel will not allow food supply to Gaza.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this in a video message uploaded on X. In this message, he also mentioned his recent visit to Washington and said that Donald Trump is Israel’s best friend ever in the White House. Israel fully supports his visionary plan in relation to Gaza. The US has reiterated its unwavering support by sending the halted military supplies. Not only this, Israel is being given every possible help to work against Iran’s terrorist axis.
He said that there is a plan to extend the temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for 50 days. During this time, the terms of a permanent ceasefire can be discussed. Under this plan, Hamas will have to release half the hostages immediately. The rest will be released when we reach an agreement on a permanent ceasefire. The Prime Minister said that Israel accepts this plan but Hamas has rejected it.
Netanyahu then addressed the humanitarian aid that Israel stopped sending into Gaza at the end of the ceasefire.
Israel has decided to stop letting goods and supplies into Gaza, something we’ve done for the past 42 days. We’ve done that because Hamas steals the supplies and prevents the people of Gaza from getting it, he explained.
Hamas uses these supplies to finance its terror machine, which is aimed directly at Israel and our civilians – and this we cannot accept, Netanyahu continued.
We will take further steps if Hamas continues to hold our hostages. Throughout this, Israel knows that America and President Trump have our back. Thank you again, President Trump! Thank you for all you are doing to return our hostages, bolster our security, and provide a future of prosperity and peace for all the peoples of the Middle East, Netanyahu stated.
