Bhubaneswar, 6 March (H.S.)The Odisha Vigilance Department initiated a series of coordinated searches at multiple locations connected to Sri Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, the Deputy Commissioner of the State Transport Authority (STA), Cuttack. The searches are part of an investigation into allegations of disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.

The Vigilance team, led by two Additional Superintendents of Police (Addl SsP), 13 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSsP), 12 Inspectors, 25 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and additional support staff, executed search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar. The searches are being conducted at nine locations across Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, and Cuttack. read a press release issued by Odisha Vigilance.
