Delhi, 11 March (H.S.): On Feb 18,2025 ,a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on financial and economic cooperation was signed between India’s Ministry of Finance and Qatar’s Ministry of Finance during HH Amir of Qatar’s visit to India. The signing, conducted by Shri Baldeo Purushartha and Mr. Mohammed Hassan Jabir Al-Jabir on 5th March 2025 in New Delhi, aims to enhance collaboration on economic policies, financing tools, public-private partnerships, and investments. This agreement is designed to institutionalize a commitment to expanding the multifaceted bilateral relationship between India and Qatar, exploring new investment sectors and opportunities in both nations. The MoU represents a significant milestone towards achieving shared objectives and includes initiatives for joint expert workshops, seminars, and the exchange of technical information, fostering ongoing dialogue between business communities of the two countries, and signaling a commitment to unlocking new avenues for growth.
