Chennai, 12 March (H.S.): In a shocking incident, General Manager dies by suicide after opening fire onto himself in the office premises on Wednesday wee hours. The incident occurred at the BHEL office premises in Trichy.

According to police sources, the deceased GM, identified as S. Ganesh, was found with a gunshot wound. A pistol was recovered from the scene. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

BHEL officials have expressed shock and grief over the sudden demise of their colleague. The company has promised to cooperate fully with the police investigation.
