
Kathmandu, March 14 (H.S.): Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has communicated with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi about the release of Nepali student Bipin Joshi, currently held by Hamas.
Prime Minister Oli expressed his concerns over the delay in Joshi’s release and requested Egypt’s mediation.
According to Oli’s press adviser, Ramsharan Bajgain, President Al-Sisi promised full cooperation regarding this issue and outlined Egypt’s ongoing efforts for Joshi’s release. Nepal has ramped up its diplomatic actions, with Foreign Minister Dr. Rana previously contacting the foreign ministers of Israel, Egypt, and Qatar. While many Nepali citizens have been rescued, Joshi’s release remains unresolved.
