Holi festivities and Ramzan Friday prayers ended smoothly in Sambhal

14 March (HS): In Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, Holi

festivities and Ramzan Friday prayers ended smoothly. Officials, with the

public’s participation, ensured that no incidents happened. Authorities used drone surveillance and foot

patrols to preserve law and order, demonstrating effective community cohesion

and friendliness. Dual celebration of

Holi and Ramzan Friday prayers were

completed without incident owing to the joint efforts of locals and

authorities. District Magistrate

Rajendra Pensia commended the community for their help in making both events

run well. Circle Officer Anuj Chowdhary

led a flag march ahead of the celebrations, which was accompanied by police and

paramilitary troops. Foot patrols and

drone monitoring were used to closely monitor activity and avoid problems. Reflecting on last year’s bloodshed, local MP

Zia ur Rehman Barq urged residents to embrace peace.

He

underlined the need of sustaining peace, not out of fear, but because of mutual

respect and societal advancement. Both

communities responded to the request, honoring their distinct traditions with

respect and attention.
