New Delhi, April 14 (HS): A grateful Nation honors Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his 135th birth anniversary. PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP have paid tributes on their X accounts.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary today. He remarked that Babasaheb’s principles and ideals will give strength and momentum for creation of a self-reliant and developed India.

In a post on X, he wrote:

“On behalf of all the countrymen, I bow down to Bharat Ratna Pujya Babasaheb on his birth anniversary. It is due to his inspiration that the country is today dedicatedly engaged in realising the dream of social justice. His principles and ideals will give strength and momentum to the creation of a self-reliant and developed India.”.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Ji, who laid the foundation of social revolution on the pillars of education, equality, and justice, remained committed to the rights of the marginalized throughout his life. By drafting a constitution based on equality, liberty, and fraternity, he provided a strong foundation for India’s great democratic heritage. Baba Saheb’s thoughts continue to inspire all of us towards building a just and equitable society. I pay my highest respects to the great architect of the Constitution and a symbol of self-esteem for millions of countrymen, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Ji, on his birth anniversary.

The BJP wrote in one post, On the birth anniversary of the architect of social harmony, the creator of the Constitution, and Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Ji, we pay our profound respects. In another post, it stated, The Modi government has given the rightful respect to the legacy of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, while the Congress has disrespected Baba Saheb’s contributions.

Nadda to visit Mahaparinirvan site at 10:30 AM

Additionally, the BJP shared the schedule of National President and Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda for today in an X post. The BJP wrote, On the occasion of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Ji’s birth anniversary, BJP National President and Union Minister J.P. Nadda will offer floral tributes at the Mahaparinirvan site located at 26, Alipur Road, New Delhi. Nadda is set to arrive at the Mahaparinirvan site at 10:30 AM.
