ABVP Hails Delhi's Inclusive Budget: A Major Boost for Education

New Delhi, 25 March (H.S.): The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) welcomes the budget presented by the newly elected Delhi government for the financial year 2025-26 and considers it to be a significant step towards inclusion. With a primary focus on education, the budget of Rs. 1,00,000 Crore introduces initiatives such as establishing CM Shri Schools, Dr. Abdul Kalam Language Lab Scheme, Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidyashakti Mission and NEEV (New Era of Entrepreneur Ecosystem and Vision).

This will not only create new opportunities for students but also strengthen Delhi’s education system. Furthermore, the government plans to create an education hub in Narela, enabling the expansion of campuses for institutions like DTU, DSEU, GGSIPU and DPRSU. Along with education, the budget also prioritizes the revival of the Yamuna River, sewer cleaning, and women’s empowerment. ABVP believes that this budget will have a significant impact on the development of Delhi and is a commendable step towards achieving the vision of a Developed Delhi, Educated Delhi.

The organization expresses gratitude to the Delhi government for addressing important resolutions passed at ABVP’s state conference regarding Yamuna cleaning and improvements in the education system.

ABVP Delhi State Secretary Sarthak Sharma commends the government’s efforts and believes that the effective implementation of this budget will lead to a developed and prosperous state.
