Guwahati, 15 May (HS): Gorchuk police of Guwahati has arrested an accused of drug smuggling with heroin in a drive.
Police said on Thursday that based on intelligence information, WGPD team of Gorchuk police station arrested Bappy Malik (30), resident of Fakiragram. He was caught with 11 vials of heroin weighing 14.86 grams from Moinakhurang of Namghar Path.
Police have initiated legal action by registering an FIR under NDPS Act in connection with the incident.
