Santa Fe (New Mexico), February 27 (HS): Hollywood actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead in their house in Santa Fe, the capital of New Mexico. Santa Fe County Police has confirmed this.

Police say that the bodies of Gene Hackman (95), Betsy Arakawa (63) and their pet dog were found in their house on Wednesday afternoon. According to Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dennis Womack-Avila, the cause of death of the actor and his wife is not yet known.

Two-time Oscar winner Hollywood veteran actor Gene Hackman lived in Santa Fe with his wife Betsy Arakawa. Hackman’s famous films include The French Connection, Bonnie and Clyde and The Royal Tenenbaums.
