
Chennai, 8 March (H.S.) : On International Women’s Day on 8th March, Saturday Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor Vijay asked women in Tamil Nadu to take pledge to vote out of power the DMK government led by Chief Minister M K Stalin for failing to protect their safety.
Vijay, who is also the founder of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party, urged the people of Tamil Nadu to unite and bring about a new era of governance in the 2026 Assembly elections.
Vijay’s comments come at a time when the DMK government is facing criticism for its handling of various issues, including women’s safety. The actor’s statement is seen as a call to action for the people of Tamil Nadu to demand better governance and accountability from their leaders.
