
Delhi, 4 May (H.S.): An Air India flight from Delhi to Tel Aviv was diverted to Abu Dhabi due to a missile attack near the airport in Tel Aviv. The attack occurred less than an hour before the flight’s scheduled landing.
The Air India flight AI139, operated by a Boeing 787, was over Jordan when the diversion was ordered. Additionally, Air India’s return flight from Tel Aviv to Delhi was canceled for the day.
Flight tracking website Flightradar24.com provided this data, while a statement from Air India was pending. Air traffic to Tel Aviv airport was temporarily suspended following the incident.
