New Delhi, April 12 (H.S.): Over the past two days, weather patterns across India have shifted significantly. The Meteorological Department has issued storm and rain alerts for multiple states, including Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, for Saturday.
A new hot wind wave may hit parts of northwest India and Gujarat from April 15. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds (40-50 km/h) are expected in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, along with light rain in northwest India.
The next seven days will see similar conditions in northeastern India and surrounding regions. Heavy rain is forecasted for Tamil Nadu and Kerala on April 12, with further heavy rainfall anticipated in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam from April 12 to 14. Dust storms may occur in Uttar Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan on April 12.
Temperature forecasts indicate minor changes in northwest India, with gradual rises elsewhere. Heatwave warnings are issued for western Rajasthan and Gujarat from April 14-17 and in parts of Punjab and Delhi from April 16-18.
