Amritsar, 14 May (H.S.): The number of fatalities in the hooch incident in this region rose to 23, as two additional individuals lost their lives in the Majitha area, according to police reports on Wednesday.

They stated that both the deceased were from Bhangwan village.

A senior police official stated that two additional individuals have passed away in Majitha after consuming adulterated alcohol, raising the death toll to 23.
