New Delhi, September 19 (HS): The highly anticipated Apple iPhone 17 series officially went on sale across India on Friday, drawing massive crowds at Apple Stores in major cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Pune. Die-hard Apple fans queued up from midnight onwards at flagship stores like Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi, eager to get their hands on the latest devices.
The new lineup includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the recently launched iPhone Air, all boasting powerful specifications and features such as the A19 chip, 48MP camera system, and ProMotion display technology. The base 256GB model of iPhone 17 is priced at ₹82,900, while the iPhone Air starts at ₹1,19,900. The Pro and Pro Max models are priced at ₹1,34,900 and ₹1,49,900 respectively, also starting with 256GB storage.
Significant foot traffic was observed at new Apple Stores, including Bengaluru’s ‘Mall of Asia’ outlet, where customers were also purchasing accessories like Apple Watch and AirPods. Alongside physical retail locations, online sales began concurrently on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma, providing customers multiple purchase options.
