California, March 9 (HS): On Sunday, the attackers wrote objectionable slogans and vandalized the walls of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills, California. This is the second incident in the US in recent months.
The Hindu American Foundation has given information about this in an X post and said that the temple located in Chino Hills has been the victim of another incident of hatred against the Hindu community. Sharing the details of the incident on X, BAPS has emphasized that they will never allow hatred to take root and peace and compassion will prevail.
BAPS Public Affairs said, After another incident of desecration of the temple, the Hindu community in Chino Hills stands firmly against hatred. Together with the community of Chino Hills and Southern California, we will never allow hatred to take root. Our shared humanity and faith will ensure that peace and compassion prevail.
However, no statement has been issued by the Chino Hills Police Department regarding the incident. Deep concern is being seen in the Hindu community regarding the incident. A few days before the so-called Khalistani referendum in the US state of Los Angeles, this incident of vandalism at the BAPS Hindu temple in Chino Hills, California has come to the fore as a series of anti-India activities going on for the last few months. This temple was also targeted in September last year.
