Washington, 07 February (HS): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is elated to have participated in the ‘National Prayer Breakfast’ program organized in the US capital Washington DC. Bilawal also expressed his views in this program of US President Donald Trump. Bilawal called this program an excellent opportunity for inter-religious harmony. He said that religion never divides. It only unites.

Bilawal Bhutto has shared many photos of the program on his X handle. In one photo, Trump is seen addressing the program and Bilawal is sitting below. Prominent personalities of the world including Bilawal participated in this program.

According to Geo News, this program started at 7 am US time. Bilawal expressed his views last at around 2 pm. Talking to reporters after the event, former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal stressed the need to strengthen public relations between Pakistan and the United States and said that religion is a unifying force rather than a divisive force. He also mentioned the sacrifices of his family on the occasion. He became emotional while remembering the assassination of his mother, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

Bilawal highlighted the role of religion in promoting unity rather than division. He said that God is almighty. He unites us. He said that the universal message of Jesus is integral to both Christianity and Islam. Bilawal arrived in America on Monday to attend the event.
