New Delhi, July 22 (H.S.): The Billie Jean King Cup Finals will start on September 16 in Shenzhen with Italy facing China. The Italian team features world number 9 Jasmine Paolini, while Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen leads China. This edition is held in September instead of November to fit the WTA Tour’s Asian swing.

The second quarterfinal between Spain and Ukraine is set for September 17, with world number 10 Paula Badosa participating. The USA will play Kazakhstan and the UK will face Japan on September 18, with semifinals on September 19 and 20, and the final on September 21.
