BJP condemns Vadra's remarks, reiterates Modi's anti-corruption stance

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia

New Delhi, April 17 (HS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has responded firmly to Robert Vadra’s remarks, emphasizing that nobody is above the law. During a press conference on Thursday, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia highlighted that Robert Vadra has faced intense scrutiny over three consecutive days. He accused the Vadra family, referring to them as the fake Gandhi family, of corruption and prioritizing personal interests over public welfare.

Bhatia asserted the effectiveness of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s anti-corruption measures, promising to imprison corrupt individuals and return land unlawfully taken from farmers. He condemned the so-called Gandhi family as a dynasty of corruption, mentioning Robert Vadra’s alleged land scams and Rahul Gandhi’s link to the National Herald scandal, along with Sonia Gandhi’s association with both the National Herald and Chopper scams.

Additionally, Bhatia criticized West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, claiming she embodies chaos and lawlessness, accusing her of violating constitutional duties by refusing to implement newly passed laws in the state. He asserted that the strength of an honest government is becoming increasingly evident to the Indian populace.
