New Delhi, May 5 (H.S.): Ajay Rai, the President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress, displayed a toy aircraft labeled ‘Rafale’, decorated with lemon and green chilies, expressing that citizens want to know when the Rafale aircraft will commence its operations.

The BJP responded strongly, arguing that the Congress poses more danger to the army than Pakistan. Sudhanshu Trivedi, BJP MP, highlighted this during a press conference, criticizing Congress and Indy Alliance leaders for claiming to support India while making demoralizing statements about the Indian Army.

Trivedi pointed out that Congress continues bilateral peace talks with Pakistan even after terrorist attacks when in power, contrasting with the Modi government, which has not engaged in formal talks with Pakistan since taking office. He criticized Ajay Rai’s mockery of Rafale, stating that while the placement of lemon and chilies is culturally meant to ward off the evil eye, it ironically suggests that the army needs protection more from Congress than from Pakistan.

He underscored that the Pakistani army views the Indian army with fear, whereas Congress looks upon it with ill intent.

Trivedi condemned the opposition’s recent actions and promised that the perpetrators of the Pahalgam incident would be held accountable.
