BJP listens to 129th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at over 5,000 booths across J&K





Srinagar, Dec 28 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by its senior leadership, actively participated in the 129th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme “Mann Ki Baat” on Sunday.
The broadcast, aired on All India Radio, Doordarshan and digital platforms, was listened to at more than 5,000 booth-level venues across Jammu and Kashmir, reflecting the party’s effort to connect with people and engage with citizens on national issues.
J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, along with MLA Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, former minister Sham Choudhary, District Prabhari Rajinder Singh Chib, District President Rinku Choudhary and other leaders, listened to the programme at Gharana Wetland in Suchetgarh.
Meanwhile, J&K BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul listened to “Mann Ki Baat” at the Nideesh Enclave Residents Welfare Association flats in Channi Rama. District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia and MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa were also present.
Addressing party workers after the programme, Sat Sharma described “Mann Ki Baat” as an effective bridge between the government and the people. He said the programme offers a unique platform to reflect on the country’s achievements and plan the way forward. He added that Prime Minister Modi’s address highlighted India’s key achievements in 2025, including progress in national security, innovation, youth empowerment and cultural pride, fostering a spirit of unity and public participation.
Sat Sharma said that since its launch, “Mann Ki Baat” has played a vital role in direct communication between the Prime Minister and citizens, strengthening national pride and a shared resolve to build a prosperous and inclusive India.
Ashok Koul said the programme continues to connect with people at the grassroots level by showcasing national successes and inspiring collective action. He added that by highlighting youth achievements, technological progress and values of unity, “Mann Ki Baat” remains relevant in motivating citizens towards a better future.(KINS)
