BJYM's peaceful demonstration against Congress corruption

Guwahati, 17 April (HS): Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Guwahati Metropolitan Unit on Thursday held a peaceful demonstration against the alleged corruption of the Congress party and the chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald case.

The demonstration march started from PHE field in Hengrabari and reached the BJP district office. During the demonstration, BJYM workers raised slogans demanding accountability and transparency against the Congress leadership, carrying placards in their hands.

On this occasion, BJYM State President Rakesh Das said, This demonstration is against the continuous corruption and irregularities being committed by the Congress party. For decades, a family has looted the country and now the people of the country are demanding justice. The National Herald case is just one example of this loot.

BJYM Guwahati City District President Niharendra Sharma, ASTC Vice President Pranab Jyoti Lakhar and many workers were present in the demonstration. Everyone expressed their support on this issue and reiterated the party’s commitment in the fight against corruption.
