Kokrajhar (Assam), 4 May (HS): The body of an unidentified person was found near Dingaon under Fakiragram police station in Kokrajhar district this morning, creating a sensation in the area. The station superintendent and railway police were informed when the body of a person was seen lying on the up line railway track in the railway 212/5 km area adjacent to Dingaon in Fakiragram town at around on Sunday.

On the basis of the information, the railway police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Kokrajhar for post-mortem. According to the information received, the person, about 40 years old, wearing a royal blue shirt and grey pants, has not been identified yet.

The police suspect that the person may have killed due to falling from the up train. According to sources, the body will be kept in the mortuary for 72 hours for identification.
