British high commissioner meets BNP leaders in Gulshan

Dhaka, June 16 (H.S.): British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke held a meeting with Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leaders today amid ongoing disputes about the election date.

The one-hour discussion occurred in a closed room at the BNP headquarters in Gulshan, focusing on the upcoming national elections and the current political climate. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir participated, alongside BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan and Organising Secretary Shama Obaid, who are part of the party’s foreign affairs advisory committee. The meeting began at approximately 10:30 AM.
