
Delhi, 20 October (H.S.): The domestic bullion market registered a marginal decline in the prices of gold and silver on Monday, coinciding with the festival of Diwali. Due to the slight downturn, 24-carat gold was trading in a range of ₹1,30,850 to ₹1,31,000 per 10 grams across most major markets in the country.
Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced between ₹1,19,940 and ₹1,20,090 per 10 grams. Silver also experienced a minor dip, with the precious metal trading at approximately ₹1,71,900 per kilogram in the Delhi market.In the national capital, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,31,000 per 10 grams, while the 22-carat variety stood at ₹1,20,090.
In Mumbai, the country’s financial hub, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,30,850 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,19,940 per 10 grams. Other metropolitan cities reflected this trend, with Chennai and Kolkata reporting prices identical to Mumbai’s.A similar price structure was observed in other key cities.
In Lucknow and Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,31,000, while in Patna and Ahmedabad it was quoted at ₹1,30,900 per 10 grams. The trend of a slight price correction was consistent across the states of Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha, where their respective capitals—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—saw 24-carat gold trading at ₹1,30,850 per 10 grams.
