Bullish stock market trend, Sensex and Nifty recover

New Delhi, July 23 (H.S.): The domestic stock market demonstrated resilience amid initial fluctuations today. Trading began positively, but selling pressure quickly emerged, leading to declines in the Sensex and Nifty indices. However, both indices remained in positive territory by 10 AM, with the Sensex up 0.25% and the Nifty up 0.21%. Major stocks like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, and IndusInd Bank posted gains between 2.41% and 0.24%. Conversely, Tata Consumer Products, Tech Mahindra, Trent Limited, Titan Company, and Asian Paints experienced losses of 1.22% to 0.43%.

By 10 AM, 2,398 shares were traded; 1,014 in the green and 1,384 in the red. In the Sensex, 18 of the 30 stocks were up, while 12 faced selling pressure. In Nifty, 34 out of 50 shares were positive. The BSE Sensex opened strong at 82,451.87 points, then dipped to 82,279.73 points after selling pressure. By 10 AM, it improved to 82,389.08 points with a gain of 202.27 points. The NSE’s Nifty started at 25,139.35 points before falling to 25,085.50 points and later rebounding to 25,114.55 points with a gain of 53.65 points. On Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 82,186.81 points, down 0.02%, while Nifty ended at 25,060.90 points, down 0.12%.
