Taipei (Taiwan), July 12(HS): China has heightened military activities around Taiwan, with Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense reporting the detection of 14 Chinese military aircraft and nine naval vessels by Saturday morning. Of these aircraft, nine crossed the median line into Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone. Taiwan’s armed forces are actively monitoring and have deployed military resources in response.

Additionally, Chinese vessels are mapping the seabed near Guam for potential underwater cable installation, which may serve military purposes. The situation is being closely monitored.
