Srinagar- The government on Monday announced that the JKBOSE Class 10th and 12th examination results will be declared on Wednesday (January 14).

Education Minister Sakina Itoo said the decision was taken keeping in view the anxiety of students awaiting their results. “We understand that students have been waiting for the results. Therefore, it has been decided that the results of both classes will be declared on Wednesday,” the minister said, as per news agency GNS.

She clarified that the meeting of the Result Declaration Committee (RDC) will be convened by the Secretary JKBOSE along with the Director School Education (DSE) for both Kashmir and Jammu divisions and the concerned Joint Secretaries.

As per official figures, 94,783 students appeared in the Class 10th JKBOSE examinations this year, including 68,804 from Kashmir, 25,224 from winter zone areas of Jammu division, 660 from Kargil, and 95 from Leh.

Meanwhile, 70,117 students registered for the Class 12th examinations, including 56,423 from Kashmir and 13,694 from winter zone areas of Jammu. The Class 12th examinations commenced on November 8 last year.
