NEW DELHI, 14 March (H.S.) : Political parties in Delhi have celebrated Holi in their
unique manners, showcasing a vibrant array of colors during the festival. Delhi
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta initiated her celebrations at the Delhi BJP State
Office, participating in the festivities alongside officials, leaders, and
staff. After her visit to the state office, she proceeded to the home of BJP
National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, where she conveyed her Holi wishes and
congratulations to him.
On the occasion of Holi, Ashish Sood, a minister in the
Delhi government, made an early morning visit to the esteemed Jhandewalan Mata
Devi Temple, accompanied by his wife, to offer their prayers. Concurrently,
Virendra Sachdeva, the President of the Delhi BJP, was seen celebrating the
festival at the Delhi BJP State Office. He enthusiastically participated in
singing traditional Holi songs, contributing to the lively atmosphere. The
environment was vibrant and infused with the spirit of Holi, as attendees joyfully
smeared coloured powder on each other and exchanged heartfelt wishes of Happy
Holi.
The BJP is enthusiastically celebrating Holi in the capital
city of Delhi. This event is particularly noteworthy as the party has reclaimed
power in Delhi after a 27-year interval. BJP leaders, officials, MLAs, and MPs
are organizing Holi celebrations at their residences. This year’s festivities
are especially meaningful for the leaders of Delhi’s BJP, given that the city
is now under the governance of a double-engine BJP administration.
