Guwahati, 20 April (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that Construction of 1.2 lakh urban houses completed in Assam. He said, Every person dreams of having his own house. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making this dream of the poor of the country come true.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), about 1.2 lakh pucca houses have been built in Assam so far. Chief Minister Sarma called it a promise made by Prime Minister Modi, which is now becoming a reality on the ground.
The government aims to provide respectable housing facilities to all eligible families in the state. Under the scheme, pucca houses are being provided to the beneficiaries, which has improved the standard of living of lakhs of people.
