Delhi, 28 October (H.S.): Dabang Delhi became the first team to secure a place in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12 final after a dramatic victory over Puneri Paltan in Qualifier-1 on Monday night. At the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium, the thrilling encounter was decided in a tiebreaker, where Delhi prevailed 6-4 after regulation time ended with the scores locked at 34-34.

The contest was a gripping, back-and-forth affair, marking the third time this season the two formidable teams have gone to a tiebreaker, with Delhi winning two of them. The lead changed hands multiple times throughout the fiercely contested match, as both sides traded crucial raid points and executed all-outs.

In the final moments of regulation time, Delhi managed to level the score, pushing the high-stakes game into a decisive tiebreaker.With this win, Dabang Delhi has booked their ticket to the grand final, which is scheduled for Friday, October 31.

Puneri Paltan’s championship hopes are not over, as they will get another opportunity to reach the final. They are set to compete in Qualifier-2 against the winner of the Eliminator-3 match between the Telugu Titans and the Patna Pirates.
