
NEW DELHI, 13 March (H.S.) : Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta commemorated Holi with
children at a shelter home, where she also assessed their conditions. In
addition to engaging in religious, political, and cultural events across the
capital, she is actively performing surprise inspections at various locations.
Delhi Chief Minister conducted an inspection of the Asha
Kiran Home, assessing the circumstances at multiple levels. Accompanying her
were Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh and local MLA Kulwant Rana.
During her visit, the Chief Minister made a special appeal to the residents of
Delhi, urging them to refrain from wasting water during the Holi festival. She
encouraged everyone to celebrate Holi with colours while also contributing to
the cleanliness of Delhi.
CM Rekha Gupta stated that she had the opportunity to meet
and engage with the children. Although they were unable to communicate
extensively, they appeared to feel a sense of relief. She expressed her
commitment to monitoring the situation and plans to make regular visits to the
area. Additionally, she extended her warm wishes for a Happy Holi to the
residents of Delhi, urging everyone to conserve water and celebrate the
festival with natural colours, emphasizing the shared responsibility of
maintaining cleanliness in the city.
