New Delhi, April 29 (H.S.): The Delhi High Court has issued notices to the Delhi Police, Delhi Waqf Board, tenant of the waqf property, and the buyer while hearing a complaint regarding the sale of a waqf property in Shahdara by the tenant. Justice Tara Vitastha Ganjoo has ordered the next hearing of the case on May 14.

The petition has been filed by the management committee of the mosque. During the hearing, the attorney representing the petitioner, Wajiha Shafiq, stated that approximately 118 square yards of waqf property located on Main Babarpur Road in West Rohatas Nagar, Shahdara, has been sold illegally. They urged the court to take action against those involved in the illegal sale and purchase of the waqf property.
