Delhi, 17 July (H.S.): To enhance awareness and adoption of the Trade Connect ePlatform, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) participated in the 71st India International Garment Fair (IIGF) and the 16th Toy Biz International B2B Expo 2025. The IIGF, inaugurated on July 01, 2025, featured over 360 Indian exhibitors and attracted buyers from 79 countries. The Minister of State for Textiles and External Affairs visited the Trade Connect booth, praising the platform’s services for empowering Indian MSME exporters.
DGFT also showcased the Trade Connect platform at the Toy Biz Expo from July 04-07, 2025, featuring over 400 Indian brands and live demonstrations of the platform’s capabilities. The platform enables exporters to access reliable trade information, connect with verified international buyers, and navigate global markets more efficiently.
Upcoming participation in major events like World Food India 2025 and the India International Jewellery Show in Mumbai will continue to spread the initiative’s outreach. The Trade Connect ePlatform serves as a comprehensive hub for international trade information, collaborating with Indian Missions, Export Promotion Councils, and other stakeholders to support exporters. It provides updated information on tariffs, certifications, and eCommerce while offering interactive courses in multiple languages. The platform facilitates secure, paperless issuance of certificates of origin for exporters. Access Trade Connect at https://trade.gov.in.
