Bhubaneswar, 6 May (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu for granting approval for the construction of a new airport in Puri, Odisha.

Taking to social media, Pradhan highlighted the spiritual and cultural significance of Shreekhetra Puri, home to Lord Jagannath, and underscored how the new airport will enhance the region’s global identity as a premier religious tourism destination.

“Grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Civil Aviation Minister am Mohan Naidu for approving the new airport in Puri. Mahaprabhu Jagannath’s abode has earned a unique global identity in the domain of spiritual tourism. This airport will not only boost religious and regional tourism but also strengthen connectivity and the local economy,” Pradhan wrote.
